You are not your mistakes, you are your possibilities.
Every single thing that happens to you
in your life is there to teach you
something about yourself
- there is nothing happening
out of order because you are
creating the order.
There are many small signs
we choose not to see that lead up
to something bigger -
God and life whisper to us
every day in many ways but
we choose not to listen or pay attention
and that is why we learn the hard way
through crisis or tragedy.

That is so profound and true. If we are honest with ourselves, we can see how we set the stage for most of our own failings and if we remain honest we can learn from that experience so it doesn't happen again.
